POSITION: Children’s Services Supervisor/Clinician
FT/PT/Contract: Full Time
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Huron Behavioral Health is seeking a clinical supervisor to oversee the agency’s home-based therapy and infant mental health programs. This a working supervisor position for someone who is interested in providing clinical supervision and leadership, as well as maintaining a partial-caseload of home-based therapy and infant mental health cases. Direct clinical work with children and families will take place in the home and community. Supervisory duties will include taking a lead role in ongoing planning, continuous quality improvement, performance monitoring, assignment of referrals, review of professional documentation and issue resolution for the children services unit. MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree with LMSW or LPC with certification to supervise LLPC’s in the state of Michigan. Infant Mental Health (IMH) endorsement preferred. If not IMH endorsed, willingness to pursue this credential through provided training.

FT/PT/Contract: Full Time

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
This position provides intensive, home-based therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families. The primary goals of this service program are as follows: (1) to promote healthy child and adolescent development, (2) to promote healthy family functioning, (3) to support and preserve families, (4) to unite families who have been separated, and (5) to reduce the usage of, or shorten the length of stay in, psychiatric hospitals and other substitute care settings. These services and supports are based on the principles of recovery and self-determination.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of a Masters Degree in Social Work or in a human services field. Michigan licensure appropriate to the profession is required. Must meet requirements of a QMHP/QIDP or work under the supervision of an assigned QMHP/QIDP.

- Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based interventions
- Facilitate at least one therapeutic or psycho-educational group (topics assigned based on agency need and staff expertise)
- Deliver clinical support services including documentation, authorizations, and liaison work with schools, courts, physicians, and community agencies
- Utilize person-centered and short-term treatment approaches
- Maintain a productivity standard of 50% face-to-face consumer contact
- Attend peer staffings, emergency services meetings, and regular supervision sessions
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency coverage and assist with daytime on-call as needed
- Actively support culturally-informed, recovery-based practices, person-centered planning, and trauma-informed care
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related human services field (required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a community outpatient mental health setting preferred
- Licensure: Current Michigan license appropriate to field of study (LMSW and CAADC strongly preferred)
